Wedding Cake Pricing

Cakes covered in buttercream start at $10 per serving and cakes covered in fondant [it's a thin layer of smooth sugar dough that goes on top of a buttercream cake] start at $13 per serving and both increase depending on the intricacy of the design. For example, a simple, three-tiered buttercream cake that serves 60 people would cost $600 [60 servings x $10/serving]. 

 

Because of the time devoted to each wedding cake, the minimum wedding cake order is $300. Cakes requiring delivery on Saturdays & Sundays have a minimum order of $600. During the peak season [the last three weekends in September] there is a minimum order of $1000 to qualify for delivery. Smaller orders can be picked up on the Friday before the wedding

Cupcakes for weddings start at $8 and increase depending on the decor.  During the summer months cupcakes may not be suitable for all reception venues since they are very temperature sensitive.

 

Delivery, Set-Up and Cake Stand Rentals are an additional charge. 

Fresh flowers and greenery for a cake are provided by your florist.

We offer wedding cake tastings Tuesdays - Fridays. You'll choose five flavors from our wedding cake menu to try. The most popular option is to set up a time to meet with Elissa at the cake shop in Basalt. The cost is $75 for up to four people and $10 for each additional person attending the tasting. If you have limited time, another option is to pick up a tasting box to take home and enjoy at your convenience. Tasting boxes serve 2 and cost $25. The boxes can also be delivered in the Roaring Fork Valley for an additional $25+.
